How do you feel about the European Union and why?

Do you support or oppose it?

Are you Eurosceptic?

Other ways of asking this question?

I'm a massive Europhile, and pro a EU. The current one needs reform, however.

I'm pro-EU but they really need to get their act together.

Needless to say, i'm personally anti-EU. But i'm also a big internationalist. The EU needs to be dissolved or else radically transformed, in my opinion. It is impeding our outlook on the world, degenerating into some sort of EU nationalism. We also need to stop the EU from serving the interests of member-state Governments and the corporate establishment.

I have no particular thoughts on the subject.

Well, i suppose that's better than all the paranoid conspiracy theories! Haha.

I used to be very pro-EU, now i'm not, since i learned a bit more about it.

I seem to share the opinons of several other people here. The EU in it's current form would appear to have too much power, but the idea is sound. Of course, that's my purely subjective, uninformed opinion...

I would argue that it isn't the EU that has too much power (what does that even mean?), but that it takes too much power from member-state parliaments and hands it straight to member-state Governments.

but the idea is sound.

Free movement of labour and capital? Depends what you mean. It could very well be quite economically shaky.

On the contrary, my friend, i invited you here to have some competition, because you are a socialist, to give you an opportunity to develop your own set of political ideals and to expose you to people with similar views to yourself.
